AI Photo Retouching With Quality Agents
AI photo retouching for product images: an AI reviewer checks every image against your product photos, and an AI retoucher fixes what it finds.
Three weeks ago we started checking every finished image automatically. The check tells you when a generated image doesn't match your product: a detail in the wrong place, a logo that doesn't read, a trim that went missing. That was half the job. The other half was still yours: regenerate and hope, or send the image to a retoucher. Product photo retouching stayed manual.
Today the loop closes, with AI photo retouching built into On-Model. Two quality agents work together:

Every fix goes back to the AI reviewer before you see it, and the reviewer judges the new version exactly like the original: against your inputs. Here are two real jobs.
A bikini that lost its details
A pink floral bikini, four product photos, Flat-to-Model on Olivia from our model library.
The first image looked great, and it wasn't quite this bikini. The AI reviewer found two differences from the product photos: the bottom had a floral band along the waistband, where the real one is plain pink on the outside, and the pearl beads scattered across the cups were missing.
The AI retoucher fixed both in one go, and left Olivia, the pose and the pool exactly as they were:
A logo that doesn't read
Swim shorts this time, two product photos, four on-model shots. Three passed. On the fourth, the AI reviewer found that the small print under the embroidered logo had warped into something illegible. On a product page, a logo that is almost right reads as wrong.
The AI retoucher rewrote the logo from your product photos and touched nothing else:
Where you see it
Open a finished job and the Quality card on the results page lists both agents. When the AI reviewer flags something, the Quality report shows each finding on the image, with the photo it was compared against. Orange marks are the ones the AI retoucher can fix.
Click AI retouch and you see, per image, what will be fixed and what can't be, before anything starts. A fix takes a minute or two. The fixed image becomes the current version, and the previous one stays in the image's version history. Afterwards, the AI retoucher shows what it did, with a before and after for every fix.
What AI retouching fixes, and what it doesn't
The AI retoucher works on details. It fixes product details that don't match your photos (pockets, closures, trims, embellishments), logos, prints and text that came out wrong, and small artifacts.
It leaves alone what isn't a detail: the model's face and pose, and whole-image changes like the background or the lighting. A shot that didn't follow your instructions, say a crop that's too tight, is a job for Regenerate. The AI retouch dialog tells you up front which findings it will fix, so you never pay for a fix it won't attempt.
The AI reviewer only reads your images. Only the AI retoucher edits them, only on the flagged detail, and every fix is checked again by the reviewer. If a fix doesn't work out, you aren't charged and the image stays as it was.
Common questions
What does it cost? The AI reviewer is included and never uses credits. The AI retoucher costs 1 credit per image it fixes. If it can't fix an image, nothing is charged.
Which plans include it? Pro and Enterprise.
Which tools does it work with? Every tool the AI reviewer checks: Model Swap, Flat-to-Model, Create Packshot, Garment Recolor and Detail Repair.
Does the AI retoucher change the rest of my image? No. It edits only the flagged detail and blends it in. The model, the pose, the background and the light stay as they were.
Can I go back to the original image? Yes. The fixed image becomes the current version, and the original stays in the image's version history.
How is this different from other AI retouching tools? Most AI retouching tools are made for portraits: smoother skin, brighter eyes, a cleaner background. This is retouching for product photos. It doesn't make an image prettier, it makes it match your product, checked against the photos you uploaded.
What if the reviewer flags something that's fine? Dismiss the finding in the Quality report. It disappears for everyone on the job, and the retoucher won't act on it.
