As a sustainable fashion brand, we are always looking for ways to use our resources responsibly. For us, AI image generation is a tool that makes our product presentation much more flexible. It enables us to launch new products and collections online more quickly while providing our customers with high-quality product imagery. At the same time, it reduces the effort required for extensive product photoshoots and helps us streamline our internal processes.

Simone Dornieden · Co-owner, ATO Berlin Shop

For almost 30 years, ATO Berlin has stood for fair, sustainable fashion with a distinctive design signature. The label develops its collections in Berlin and manufactures primarily under fair working conditions in Portugal. High-quality materials such as GOTS-certified organic cotton, linen, Lyocell and LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose are as much a part of the brand's philosophy as timeless design and long-lasting quality.

As the collection grows and the demands of e-commerce keep rising, producing high-quality product imagery has become an increasingly important part of the workflow.

Greater flexibility for content production

To bring new products online faster, ATO Berlin uses On-Model to transform existing product images into polished on-model photography and clean packshots. New collections can go live quickly, without organising a dedicated photoshoot for every style. The result is a faster content process with a consistent visual identity across the online store.

From product image to ready-to-publish content

ATO Berlin starts from simple flat-lays of each garment and turns them into editorial on-model imagery. Because the models are identities the brand owns, every product launches with a consistent face and styling.

The same flat-to-model workflow handles menswear. Two flat-lays, a linen camp-collar shirt and matching shorts, become one styled on-model shot.

For products that sell on the packshot alone, the team photographs each garment on a plain studio form and turns every angle into a clean ghost-mannequin packshot: consistent front, back and side views for the product page.

Sustainability and efficiency go hand in hand

For ATO Berlin, AI is not a replacement for creativity or design. It is a practical tool that supports existing workflows and helps the team use resources more efficiently. The same care that goes into fair production and durable materials now extends to how the brand creates and scales its product imagery, freeing the team to focus on designing new collections and serving customers.

Already live across channels

For ATO Berlin, the visuals are not a nicer image in a folder. The on-model imagery and packshots go straight to the storefront, where each new style can launch faster with a consistent look.
